Husky Gymnasts Finish Fourth at NCAA West Regional

Corvallis, OR - The Washington women's gymnastics team scored 194.775 to place fourth at the NCAA West Regional Championship at Oregon State. Utah won the meet with a score of 197.100 to advance to the NCAA Championships. Oregon State scored 196.800 to finish second and claim the regional's other automatic position for the national championships.
Oklahoma was third at 196.625 while Boise State finished fifth at 194.550 and Southern Utah was sixth at 193.350.
Washington was led by freshman Carly Dockendorf, who placed 10th overall in the all-around competition with a score of 39.225. She was second on floor (9.950) and vault (9.850). The Huskies' Emily Pritchard also turned in a second-place showing on bars (9.900). Washington's Tanya Powers placed fourth on beam with a score of 9.875.
Utah's Theresa Kulikowski won the all-around with a score of 39.675. She also placed first on bars (9.950) and balance beam (10.000). Utah's Annabeth Eberle won the vault with a score of 9.950 while Oregon State's Annie Campbell placed first on floor exercise at 9.975.
