Statesboro, GA - The Washington men's golf team turned in a final-round score of 297 to finish at 886 and place 11th at The Schenkel EZ-GO Invitational at Forest Heights Country Club. Augusta State won the tournament with a score of 865, two strokes better than Wake Forest.
Washington was led by junior John Robertson, who shot even-par 72 on Sunday to tie for 12th place at 218. North Carolina State's Justin Walters won the tournament with a 9-under score of 207. He was five strokes ahead of the second-place finisher.
Washington's other scores included a 29th place finish by Dan Potter at 221, a 34th-place showing by Brock Mackenzie at 222, a 48th-place finish by Corey Pruth at 225 and a 71st-place finish by Conner Robbins at 234.
