
Husky Men's Golf Team tied for 10th at PING Intercollegiate

Tucson, AZ - The 13th-ranked Washington men's golf team is tied for 10th place after 18 holes of play at Arizona's PING Intercollegiate. The scheduled second round of play was suspended at 6:15 local time due to darkness with two-thirds of the field still on The Raven course.
The Huskies are one of four teams grouped in 10th place after shooting 6-over 290 during the opening round. USC grabbed the early lead with a 3-under total of 281.
Washington junior John Robertson was the Huskies' early leader with an opening-round 69. He is just two strokes behind the tournament leaders. Washington junior Derek Berg is tied for 17th-place at even-par 71 while senior Gordy Scutt is 54th at 74. Brock Mackenzie nad Conner Robbins are tied for 74th after shooting 76.
Play will resume Tuesday at 7:30 a.m. MST with the completion of the second round. The final round will follow at approximately 8:30 a.m.
