Women's Golf Places 11th At Stanford Intercollegiate

PALO ALTO, Calif. -- The Washington women's golf team carded a final round score of 304 and finished 11th at the Stanford Intercollegiate Golf Tournament. Tulsa captured the team title, at 879, three strokes ahead of second place Pepperdine (882). The Golden Hurricanes' Stacy Prammanasudh won individual medalist honors, carding 210 for the three-day tournament on the par 72, 6,54-yard Stanford Golf Course.
Washington sophomore Kelli Kamimura fired a final round 71, the lowest Husky mark of the tournament, to finish in a tie for 10th place with a total of 220. Elisha Au, who entered the day in fourth place, finished 13th at 221, after shooting 77 in her final round. Freshman Louise Friberg was a ways back, in 61st wtih a score of 234. Andrea Cordova was 77th, with a 239 and Megan Sanders rounded out the group, in 93rd at 249.
Washington next travels to New Mexico State to play in the Roadrunner Invitational, Nov. 1-3.
