Au Moves To Fourth At Stanford Women's Intercollegiate

STANFORD, Calif. - After a second round of 18-holes, the 23rd-ranked Washington women's golf team fell to 11th place at the 36th Annual Stanford/PEPSI Women's Intercollegiate Golf Tournament. The University of Tulsa stole the lead from Pepperdine after shooting a team total of 285 for a combined 582 strokes in the first and second rounds. Pepperdine sits 3 strokes back from the lead with a two-day total of 585.
Tulsa's Stacy Prammanasudh finished the course in 66 strokes, taking over the lead after two rounds with a score of 139. Tamie Durdin of Pepperdine moved up to second place with 142, taking 69 strokes over the course in round two. San Jose State's Jessica Krantz dropped back to third with 143 after sharing yesterday's lead with Jill Gomric of Arizona.
Two Huskies remain among the top leaders of the tournament after 36 holes of play. Elisha Au climbed 16 spots after shooting a 69, tying for fourth with an even 144 strokes after two rounds. Sophomore Kelli Kamimura is five over par after finishing the day with 76 and falling back to 18th place with a score of 149.
The final round of the tournament begins with an 8:00 am shotgun start on Sunday.
