
Volleyball Completes Weekend Sweep

SEATTLE - The Washington volleyball team completed a weekend sweep with a 3-0 win over Oregon Saturday night at the Pavilion Addition. Game scores were 15-8, 15-8, 15-8.
The Huskies, who beat Oregon State Friday night, improved to 8-11 overall and 4-7 in the Pac-10. Tenth-place Oregon lost its 14th straight match, fell to 6-14 and 0-11 in the conference.
Washington got a strong showing from sophomores Lisa Underhill and Allison Richardson. Underhill had 13 kills and hit .500 while Richardson had 12 with a .524 hitting percentage. Kristina Laffling tacked on 10 kills as well.
Oregon was led by Monique Tobaggi, who had a match-high 15 kills. Amy Banducci was the other Duck in double figures with 11 kills.
Washington's next action comes next weekend against UCLA and USC.
