Played basketball from 1941 to 1944. 1943 All-American; two-time All-Coast pick (1943-44) and three-time All Northern Division choice; led Huskies to 1942 and 1943 Pacific Coast Conference titles; in 1943 UW finished fourth at NCAA regionals.
