Dear Washington,
From the moment I stepped onto the evergreen campus of the University of Washington as a naive freshman, brimming with both trepidation and excitement, I felt a profound sense of belonging. As I reflect on my journey, I am filled with deep gratitude for the life-changing experiences that I have been fortunate to encounter here, thanks to the unwavering support of the faculty, coaches, and my fellow teammates. Now, as I prepare to graduate, I pen down this letter to express my gratitude and hope that my presence has left a lasting positive impact.
The transformative power of the University of Washington Football Program has shaped me as an athlete and an individual. The rigor and discipline I've cultivated on the football field have seeped into every aspect of my life, fueling my academic pursuits and personal growth. Through each training session, each game, each win and loss, I learned the essence of resilience, teamwork, and leadership.

To my coaches, your dedication has been instrumental in molding me as a player and as a man. Your commitment, passion, and faith in my abilities propelled me to push boundaries, inspiring me to strive for excellence, not just on the field but also in the classroom. Thank you for your tireless dedication and for teaching me that the essence of football extends beyond physical prowess to mental fortitude, character, and respect.
To my fellow Huskies, my brothers, I am indebted for the camaraderie we have shared. Your unwavering support and collective belief in our team's potential have strengthened my conviction and passion for the sport. Each one of you has played a crucial role in my journey, and I am eternally grateful for your friendship, both on and off the field.
To the entire Husky community – the academic team, the administrative staff, and the student body - your constant support and enthusiasm have been an integral part of my journey. You have offered me an enriching environment that encouraged learning, growth, and camaraderie.
It is my ardent hope that I have managed to reciprocate this positivity during my time here. I strived to lead by example, imparting the values of resilience, discipline, and sportsmanship that I learned through the program. My aim was to inspire my peers and the underclassmen, just as I was inspired by the upperclassmen when I first set foot on this campus.
As I embark on the next phase of my journey, I carry with me invaluable lessons and unforgettable memories. The spirit of the Huskies will forever echo in my heart, reminding me of where I've been and guiding me towards where I'm headed.

Rest assured, wherever I go, I will proudly wear the purple and gold, embodying the spirit of the Huskies, contributing positively to society, and remaining a proud alumnus of the University of Washington.
