BERKELEY, Calif. – The #6 Washington Huskies extended their winning streak with another shutout win, blanking the California Golden Bears 8-0 in six innings. The Huskies now have an eight-game winning streak and three-game shutout streak after allowing just four hits all day.
Sis Bates was perfect at the plate, going 4-for-4 with three runs scored. The junior had her first career four-hit day and her third perfect day at the plate of the 2019 season.
Morganne Flores,
Noelle Hee, and
Taryn Atlee all had RBI, with Atlee driving two runs in as well as recording two hits.
Gabbie Plain moved to 13-1 on the season with her shutout win, her second straight shutout. She did not allow an extra-base hit in the game and had three 1-2-3 innings.

- Second Inning: Washington picked up three early runs, plating two on an error in the outfield and one more on an error by the shortstop.
- Fourth Inning: Atlee laced a single up the middle with the bases loaded to bring two runs in.
- Sixth Inning: After Hee's pinch-hit RBI single, an error by the centerfielder allowed two more Huskies to score and make it 8-0.
