Dawgs Continue Pac-12 Play With Road Trip To Bay Area

SEATTLE – The 15th ranked Washington women's tennis begins a two-match road trip to the Bay Area to face No. 19 Cal and No. 5 Stanford. The Huskies enter the weekend with a 15-1 overall record and a perfect 5-0 record in conference play, tied with the Cardinal atop the Pac-12 standings. UW faces Cal (9-5, 3-2) on Friday, April 5 at 1:30 p.m. and Stanford (14-1, 5-0) on Saturday, April 6 at 12 p.m.

  • The Dawgs are on a 10 match winning streak, dating back to early February
  • UW is in a two way tie for first place in the Pac-12 at 5-0 along with Stanford
  • Sophomore Vanessa Wong holds the best single duals record on the team with a 14-1 record
  • Senior Stacey Fung is ranked 95th in the latest ITA singles rankings
  • Fung's 88 career singles wins are sixth place all-time in program history
  • Freshman Nika Zupancic and Fung hold the 38th spot in the ITA doubles rankings
  • Doubles play has been a strong point as the team holds a 29-8 (.784) record in dual matches
  • As a team, the Huskies carry a .808 (21-5) winning percentage in Pac-12 singles dual matches
