SEATTLE – The #7 Washington Huskies finished off their second straight Pac-12 series sweep with a run-rule victory over Oregon State. Washington shutout the Beavers 8-0, scoring in each of the last three innings. The Huskies improve to 6-3 in the Pac-12 and 29-6 overall with the win.
Amirah Milloy and
Sami Reynolds each had perfect days at the plate, going a combined 5-for-5 with three doubles and four RBI. Eight of the nine starters for the Huskies had hits in the game, with seven different players scoring a run.
Gabbie Plain allowed only one hit and one walk to cruise to a shutout victory. She retired the first nine batters of the game and only allowed one batter to reach third base all day.

- Third Inning: Morganne Flores hit her fourth homer of the week to give UW the 1-0 lead.
- Fourth Inning: With the bases loaded, Milloy doubled to the gap to bring in three. Sis Bates' single up the middle scored Milloy after that, making it 5-0. A double by Reynolds added another run.
- Fifth Inning: The Beavers tried to get Taryn Atlee at home but threw the ball way, allowing Atlee and Kaija Gibson to score and end the game.

- Bates (1x3, R, RBI) recorded her 181st career hit, tying Heather Tarr.
- Bates now has a four-game hitting streak and has hit .600 over her last six games.
- Flores (1x3, HR) has driven in at least one run in six consecutive games and has scored a run in seven of the last eight.
- In her last five games, Gibson (1x2, 2 R) has scored seven runs and driven in seven.
- Plain (5.0 IP, 1 H, 6 K) has allowed only 47 hits. Rachel Garcia is the only other pitcher in the Pac-12 to throw 70+ innings and allow less than 50 hits.

With this week's games in the books, Washington will hit the road for a three-game series at Cal next weekend.
