EUGENE, Ore. – The #5 Washington Huskies rode an offensive explosion to a 14-2 run-rule victory over the Oregon Ducks Sunday. Washington hit five home runs in the game, its most in a single game since February 10, 2018, to help the Huskies to their highest scoring game of the season. Five Huskies had multiple hits in the game and six scored multiple runs.

Kaija Gibson, Morganne Flores, and Amirah Milloy all had multiple RBI, with Gibson leading the way with five runs driven in and Flores with four. All three of those players homered, as did Sami Reynolds. Gibson and Sis Bates each had three hits in the game: Bates reached base all four times she came to the plate, going 3-for-3 with a walk.

The huge offensive day was more than enough to carry Gabbie Plain to her tenth win of the season. The sophomore, who also recorded her first two career at-bats in the game, struck out seven in the complete-game win.
