EUGENE, Ore. – The #7 Washington Huskies defeated Oregon 6-3 in game one of the series, taking down the Ducks in ten innings after a long rain delay. Senior
Amirah Milloy delivered a three-run homer in the top of the tenth to seal the victory. The game was delayed over two hours at one point, with the Huskies fighting inclement weather all day long.
All of Washington's scoring came via home run, with
Sami Reynolds and
Nawai Kaupe also launching blasts in the game.
Gabbie Plain and
Taran Alvelo each worked five innings for the Huskies, with Alvelo earning her 12
th win of the year thanks in part to nine strikeouts.

- Third Inning: Kaupe broke the early tie with a solo home run.
- Fifth Inning: Oregon's two-run home run gave the Ducks their only lead of the day.
- Sixth Inning: Just before the rain delay, Reynolds hit a two-run shot to centerfield to make it 3-2.
- Seventh Inning: A flyball by the Ducks went just over the wall to tie the game.
- Tenth Inning: After two walks by the Huskies, Milloy sent the ball out of the park for the win.
