Stewart's Run Ends At Pensacola Futures Event

SEATTLE – Mitch Stewart's run at the Pensacola Futures Championship ended today in round two of the main draw, as he fell to Wil Spencer 6-2, 6-2. Stewart won five matches in total at the event, four in the qualifying round, and one in the main draw.

After being postponed yesterday due to weather, Stewart finished his first round match against Alexios Halebian this morning and won 6-2, 4-6, 6-3.

Stewart's end in Pensacola marks the end of fall play for the Huskies men's tennis team, as they'll be back in action January 9th, hosting a double-header against Seattle University.
