Nick is originally from the island of St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands. As a junior tennis player, he was ranked #1 in the territory in all age categories and went undefeated in varsity competition as well as NJTL (National Junior Tennis League) play. After a brief relocation to Florida for his senior year of high school, Nick went on to play Division 1 tennis for Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY where he played #1 doubles and #4 singles. Nick has also represented the US Virgin Islands four times in Davis Cup competition.
His teaching pro career started at the age of 16 at the Buccaneer Hotel Club where he began working seasonally as an assistant teaching pro during his winter breaks. Since moving to Seattle in 2007, he has spent time teaching at the Amy Yee Tennis Center as well Tennis Center Sandpoint.
Nick coaches a variety of successful USTA League teams and is the founder of The Players Lab, which Is a training program for competitive adult recreational players here in the Seattle area.

As a player, Russ was a ranked junior singles and doubles player in Florida, played number 1 singles and doubles at the University of Oregon, and played 6 seasons for German tennis club teams. He has achieved USTA rankings in the open and senior divisions in the PNW, including as high #1 in singles and #3 in doubles.
He has taught at tennis camps in Italy and the United States, has been a high school head coach for 11 years, and has been teaching in the Seattle area for over 25 years. He joined the Nordstrom Tennis Center teaching staff in 2005, and focuses on helping players of all abilities increase their enjoyment and proficiency through better understanding of movement, positioning, and stroke production. Evan has amassed a very strong tennis resume throughout his career. He was a Head Pro at Sand Point Country Club for 18 years, and has taught varsity tennis at Lakeside High School as well as University Prep. Evan has been on the University of Washington teaching staff instructing camps and lessons for over 31 years. His certifications include a USPTA teaching pro for over 30 years, and he is a USTA League Coordinator. Evan currently instructs adults of all skill levels at the University of Washington, and uses his vast experience and love for tennis in to help improve all aspects of his players. Kawika Lam is a former UW tennis standout, playing on the team from 2015-16 to 2018-19. His accomplishments including beating the #1 doubles team in the country his junior year and having the most doubles wins of any player on the team. He grew up in Hawai’i, and taught juniors during his time there. He also won the high school singles state title his sophomore, junior and senior season, and went undefeated in the Hawai’i Pacific section junior tournaments from 2013 to 2015. Kawika enjoys working with adults and USTA teams, helping players reach their potential in both singles and doubles.

Janet is an experienced instructor with 6 years of coach training with Tennis Canada, as well as being PTR certified and two years of coaching high performance. Janet enjoys instructing all ages, individuals, teams or groups of all skill levels. Janet is an Early Childhood education teacher with Masters in Curriculum development and specialist in Special Education. Janet is also a professional big air snowboarder, and is a World and X Games Champion. She does motivational talks to schools and businesses, and works with athletes in sports psychology on how to be their personal best. Darren Parsons is a career professional certified by both the U.S.P.T.A. at the Elite level and the P.T.R at the highest Professional level. Darren was a high ranking junior player and went on to play his college tennis right here for the University of Washington Huskies. Since then he has been coaching all aspects of Junior and adult tennis for over twenty years. He has coached over 50 USTA Teams to Nationals and takes pride in having helped hundreds of players of varying abilities reach their goals.
