NORMAN, Okla. – Washington golfer Wenyung Keh has been selected as the coach's pick for the International Team that will compete at the 2018 Arnold Palmer Cup held July 6-8 at the Evian Resort Golf Club in Évian-les-Bains, France.
The junior out of New Zealand joins 12 other women's golfers on the international team in the Ryder Cup-style competition. She was selected to the team by head coach Anne Walker of Scottish decent and the current head coach at Stanford University. This year's Arnold Palmer Cup is the first with an extended format to include collegiate athletes.
Keh recently earned her first career All-Pac-12 Selection following a season that featured five top 10 efforts and no finish below 25th in her nine events. She also competed at the first annual Asia Pacific Women's Amateur Championships where she tied for second after falling in a playoff. Keh has posted seven rounds under par during collegiate play this year and most recently finished tied for fifth at the Pac-12 Championships.
