
Washington Returns Home To Face Oregon State

SEATTLE – The #16 Washington GymDawgs return home this week, set to host the #11 Oregon State Beavers on Saturday, February 10 at 1:30 pm. The meet will be shown live on the Pac-12 Network. Tickets for all home meets are available online.
Last week, the GymDawgs took on the #3 Utah Utes on the road. Monica Riley set a career high on bars with a score of 9.900, good enough to get the event win as well. Hailey Burleson also set a season high for all-around with a score of 39.350, buoyed by scores of 9.850 on bars and beam and a score of 9.875 on floor.
It was also the third week in a row that Washington has had a team score over 196.000, putting up a score of 196.250 against Utah. Thanks to a team score of 49.150, the GymDawgs are now 12th in the nation on bars. Washington is also 13th in the nation on floor, earning a score of 49.150 against Utah for its fourth consecutive week scoring over 49.000 as a team on floor.
Oregon State moved to 11th in the nation after defeating Arizona State 196.725-195.050 last week. The Beavers are sixth in the nation on floor thanks in part to Kaitlyn Yanish, who is 15th in the nation on floor with an average score of 9.894. Oregon State has scored over 196.000 in three of its four meets so far this season.
