GymDawgs Head To Stanford For Pac-12 Championships

The No. 15 GymDawgs enter the Pac-12 Championships as the four seed and will compete in the evening session starting at 6:00 p.m. (PT). The Championship will be held Saturday, March 18 on campus at Stanford University.
This Saturday will be the first time that Washington has appeared in the evening session of the Pac-12 Championships since the two-session format was introduced.
"Being in the evening session of PAC 12's was one of our big goals of the season," said head coach Elise Ray. "It takes consistency and excellent competing to get there so reaching this goal is a true testament to this team's grit and determination. I cannot say enough about these young women! They are excited and hungry for a great competition ahead."
Heading into senior night against Seattle Pacific this past weekend, the GymDawgs needed to score a 196.85 to clinch a spot in session two. With a 49.350 on floor to finish out the meet, the GymDawgs ended with a 196.925 to secure the four seed and a spot in the evening session.

Washington scored a 196.925 to top Seattle Pacific in their senior night and regular season finale at Alaska Airlines Arena. It marks their second highest score of the season.
The GymDawgs won all four events and tied their season high score of 49.425 on beam. They also had individual titles on each event and won the all-around. The GymDawgs had a total of 13 top-3 finishers on the night, a new season-high.

Bars, No. 20, RQS: 49.100 - Duranczyk has a top-3 finish in seven out of the nine meets this year and has three bars titles on the season. She is currently tied for No. 28 in the nation on the event. Burleson won her first bars title of the season last week against Seattle Pacific with a career-high 9.875. Goings and Washington also have top-3 performances on bars this season.
Beam, No. 10, RQS: 49.250 - They GymDawgs climbed two spots tying their season high 49.425 on beam against Seattle Pacific. Goings held her T-16th ranking on beam after scoring a 9.992 last week. Burleson ranks T-20th after tying her season high 9.925. Goings leads the team with five beam titles, Burleson has three, and Schaefer and Malory Rose each have one.
Floor, No. 13, RQS: 49.250 - The GymDawgs rank No. 13 in the nation after scoring a 49.350. Burleson leads the Huskies with six top-3 finishes. Yacalis scored a career-high 9.925 on senior night. Duranczyk and Washington both have top-3 finishes this season.
